Terms of Service
These terms govern use of the MTEC Software website, Student Portal, educational and digital services, and official support channels. By using or registering for these services, you acknowledge these terms and agree to them to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Terms at a glance
Use MTEC services lawfully and responsibly, provide accurate information, protect your account, and follow the enrollment and payment terms presented or agreed for the service you choose. These terms do not grant a right to copy or redistribute MTEC content or misuse MTEC systems.
1. Acceptance of these terms
- These terms apply to the MTEC website, Student Portal, forms, digital services, support, and official channels operated by MTEC.
- If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use the part of a service that requires your agreement to them.
2. Accounts and accurate information
- You must provide accurate and reasonably current information when registering, creating an account, or completing a service-related action.
- You are responsible for protecting your sign-in information and for not sharing passwords or access codes with unauthorized persons.
- We may request identity or contact verification where reasonably necessary to protect an account or complete a sensitive action.
3. Programs and educational services
- Program details, content, schedules, requirements, and attendance methods vary by the selected service, diploma, or program.
- Operational or educational schedules and elements may change when reasonably necessary. We aim to provide reasonable notice of material changes to affected users.
- Specific enrollment, group, offer, or service terms presented or agreed during registration supplement these terms for that service.
4. Fees, invoices and payments
- Fees and amounts due depend on the applicable offer or program and the invoice and approved financial record in MTEC systems at the time of the relevant action.
- Payments must be completed only through official channels identified by MTEC, and payment status may be subject to finance review and approval where applicable.
- Any refund, cancellation, or transfer policy for a particular service is governed by the terms presented or agreed for that service and applicable legal requirements. Contact MTEC for your specific case.
5. Acceptable use
- You may not use the services unlawfully, fraudulently, to harm others, disrupt systems, or bypass security or authorization controls.
- You may not attempt unauthorized access to MTEC accounts, data, or systems or misuse upload, messaging, or API functionality.
6. Content and intellectual property
- Unless stated otherwise, rights in MTEC educational content, designs, materials, trademarks, and software remain with MTEC or their respective licensors.
- Access to content is for authorized personal or educational use and does not grant a right to commercially copy, resell, publish, or distribute it without appropriate permission.
7. Communications, automation and AI
- MTEC may use email, phone, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, or system notifications for enrollment, service, support, and operational communications.
- Some support channels may use automated systems or artificial intelligence to help understand requests, suggest responses, or identify next steps.
- Official invoice amounts, payment approvals, and finance decisions rely on MTEC records and authorized personnel and are not approved solely by an automated response.
8. Third-party services
- Some functionality may rely on third-party hosting, communications, messaging, analytics, or technology service providers.
- Use of a third-party platform such as Meta or Zoom may also be governed by that platform's terms and policies independently of MTEC terms.
9. Service availability and changes
- We aim to keep services available, but maintenance, outages, technical changes, or operational changes may temporarily affect some features.
- MTEC may update, improve, or replace functionality where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable obligations to users.
10. Suspension or termination of access
- Access may be restricted or suspended for unauthorized use, security risk, material violation of these terms, or when a user no longer has a right to use a particular service.
- Nothing in this section removes user rights or MTEC obligations that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Liability and applicable law
- Services are provided subject to the terms applicable to each service and applicable legal requirements, and these terms do not exclude any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
- Any limitation of liability is interpreted only to the extent permitted by applicable law and does not remove mandatory consumer or user rights.
12. Changes to these terms and contact
- We may update these terms as our services, procedures, or legal requirements change. The current version will be posted on this page with its last-updated date.
- You can contact MTEC through our official channels with questions about these terms or terms specific to a service.
